About Capacitor Studios

Capacitor Studios is a next-generation IP company and entertainment studio. Founded in late 2019 by veteran executives Paul Hanson, Asa Greenberg, Ian McGloin, and Elan Freedman, Capacitor partners with leaders in the toy, publishing, video game, and hobby game industries, and leverages great storytelling to supercharge their IPs -- producing TV/OTT series and feature films that propel consumer products properties into the mass market. A key strategic component is Capacitor's joint-venture with Surge Licensing, a leading IP development company.
