About Capitol School of Austin

At Capitol School of Austin, we give students with all types of communication challenges the chance to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff provides a personalized approach that focuses on each student's strengths and individual development. Capitol School's language program is designed to provide intensive speech, language, and learning services. All classes are directed and staffed by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists or Special Education teachers. All Speech Pathologists are licensed by the State of Texas, and most hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Individual and small group therapy is also available through The Children's Therapy Center at Capitol School of Austin. Capitol School of Austin serves students from preschool through fifth grade in a supportive, low student-to-teacher environment. By integrating academics with therapeutic services throughout the school day, students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and develop tools needed for long-term academic and personal success.
