Carbon Registry-India is one of its kind initiative by Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests (NCCF). CR-I is India-centric, standards based voluntary carbon market mechanism which provides rules, requirements and procedures for design, development, validation and registration of projects and subsequent verification and certification of net GHG emissions reduction. it also provides rules, requirements and procedures for approval and listing of Methodologies and Tools.
