Founded in 1993, the organization launched India’s first Home Care Program in December 1994 to provide cancer pain management and support to underprivileged patients suffering from advanced and terminal cancer. To address challenges that require specialized home care, Hospital Vishranti was established in 2007 at Bhawani Peth, Pune, to manage complex symptoms and provide focused care. This 22-bed Cancer Palliative & Critical Care Centre offers round-the-clock hospital services, including: - Stabilization of vital parameters - Acute cancer pain management to improve quality of life - Symptom control and wound care for patient comfort - Respite care and support for families in distress - Emotional and psychological support Vishranti uniquely complements our home care program by ensuring critical care and comfort for patients and families in need of additional support. Vishranti is especially dedicated to bringing hope and healing to young mothers battling cancer, but held back by poverty. Understanding the tragedy of delayed treatment, we offer not only free chemotherapy, but also essential support through free confirmatory diagnostics and regular consultations. Every step of the way, we stand beside these women because no one should have to choose between survival and affordability.
