Did you know over 500,000 older people go a week without speaking to anyone at all? Or that 42% of over-55s are inactive due to social isolation or a lack of opportunity? CareDogs wants to be part of the solution. CareDogs wants a future where loneliness and social isolation in older people has been solved by community connections, dog companionship and being outdoors. Being around dogs has many benefits, from increasing emotional well-being to lowering the risks of health problems, which is why we want to bring canine companionship to all older people in our local communities!
