About Carefree Media

It’s time for authentic stories from Black women. Carefree is a Black women's magazine and an online community of authentic storytellers who believe Black women deserve to feel seen, heard, and celebrated—no matter where they came from. We tell indulgent, slow, and rich stories written by a different Black woman and sent to your inbox once a week. From life, love, adventure, and everything in between, we provide space for Black writers to tell their stories unapologetically.
