About Careit

Careit is more than just a free online donation matching marketplace to reduce food waste. It disrupts the current system of an ever-growing epidemic of food insecurity and malnutrition by connecting a vast network of healthy food producers immediately to nonprofits for redistribution. It generates resources needed to grow hunger relief agencies that rescue surplus food to feed America’s most vulnerable individuals and families. And it provides businesses, corporations, and governments with a revolutionary platform for data tracking on environmental impact, philanthropic contribution, financial savings, and charitable tax deductions.
