About Caring Cowgirl (501c3)

Caring Cowgirl is a (501c3) nonprofit, bilingual program dedicated to broadening access to horses through bilingual programs. Serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 2018. We democratize therapeutic equine activities for underserved and overlooked communities by providing safe and assisted access to horses. Caring Cowgirl's programs are available in Spanish and English. Our goal is to simply bring joy to each person through hands-on interactions with our rescue equines. Our programs are open and free flowing in order to meet individual needs and lower the boundaries to equine activities. Caring Cowgirl's programs allow participants to get up close and personal with horses by grooming, hand-walking, or going on a mini hike together. Other times participants can simply “take a mini break” and quietly enjoy the company of their new equine companions by sharing moments of mindfulness, relaxation, and gentle petting. Visit our website to learn more or make a donation to help bring Caring Cowgirl's services to those in need.
