About CASA — Climbing Association of Southern Arizona

The Climbing Association of Southern Arizona (CASA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for climbers in southern Arizona through stewardship, education, and partnership with land managers. Founded in 2015 and modeled after the Access Fund, CASA gives back to the local community through collaborative, volunteer projects. CASA routinely conducts erosion control on Mt. Lemmon trails, removes graffiti at Windy Point, provides education as well as fun, community-building activities, and facilitates Mt. Lemmon Highway cleanups. Through events like these and more, CASA members and supporters pour thousands of volunteer hours into the treasured outdoors, benefiting all users. Our core programs support local climbers and outdoor recreationalists: • Stewardship • Graffiti abatement/removal • Youth Stewardship • Fixed hardware replacement • Education • Community Engagement • Advocacy CASA is proud to be an Access Fund Affiliate.
