About Caseificio Torre Pallavicina

The Cooperative Torre Pallavicina was born on June June 7th, 1936 with the aim of protecting the economic and moral interests of its shareholders who gave their milk to sell it or process it and later gain from the selling of the products obtained. The construction of what are now the headquarters and its premises for the processing of milk and pig keeping began in 1964. At the beginning the Cooperative Torre Pallavicina specialized in the production of Provolone, the production of Grana Padano DOP began later on, until, in 1977, a warehouse with a capacity of about 7,000 forms was built specifically for its aging. In 2004 a new warehouse with a capacity of 50,000 forms was built.
