About Caspian Europe Forum

"Our mission is to create an inclusive platform where knowledge, capital, and innovation flow freely across borders — driving sustainable prosperity for over 7 participating countries." Prof. Dr. Rainer Lindner, President, Caspian Europe Forum The Caspian Europe Forum (CEF) was established in Berlin in 2020 on the initiative of leading German and European experts in international economics, foreign policy and cross-border cooperation. From its inception, the Forum was shaped by two figures whose experience and networks significantly elevated its institutional weight: Through the combination of strategic insight (Prof. Dr. Lindner), global convening power (Nader Maleki), and operational capability across seven offices (Berlin, Frankfurt, Baku, Almaty, Tashkent, Bishkek, regional hub), the Caspian Europe Forum quickly evolved from a conference platform into a strong, execution-oriented community of policymakers, investors, industry leaders, engineering firms, logistics operators and technology providers. Today, CEF stands as a core institutional bridge between Germany/Europe and the Caspian region — supported by influential partners, a strong regional footprint, and a structure designed not only to discuss opportunities but to deliver real projects from concept to implementation. Caspian Europe Forum was created to close the strategic gap between Europe (especially Germany) and the Caspian-region economies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. From the outset we committed to not just networking — but delivering projects from concept to completion. With a network of seven offices— Berlin and Frankfurt (Germany) plus Baku (Azerbaijan), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and our regional coordination hub — we maintain local presence and authority in each market, ensuring our members gain operational support and regulatory access.
