About Cecilia Moisio Company

Cecilia Moisio Company is a bold and boundary-pushing force in contemporary dance theatre, led by Finnish choreographer and director Cecilia Moisio. Known for her fearless, multidisciplinary approach, Moisio fuses theatre, dance, and performance art to explore the psychology of human behavior with striking honesty, humor, and emotion. With over 30 acclaimed works performed across 16 countries, the company has built an international reputation for challenging social norms and confronting unspoken taboos, what Moisio calls her mission as a psychological activist. Based in Rotterdam, the company creates original productions and collaborates with leading names in the field, including Maas Theater en Dans, Club Guy & Roni, and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, continuously redefining what contemporary dance theatre can be.
