About CEFD – Centre for Energy, Finance and Development

The Center for Energy, Finance and Development (CEFD) is a think tank dedicated to promoting the energy transition as a driver of sustainable development in the Global South. Our work focuses on the intersection of energy policy, industrial strategy, and finance, exploring innovative pathways to mobilize capital, strengthen institutions, and design public policies that align climate action with economic diversification. Our mission is to ensure that the energy transition fosters climate justice and shared prosperity.
