About Center City Girls Academy

In June 2021, the only all girls high school in Center City Philadelphia, in operation for over one-hundred years, closed its doors. In recognition and appreciation of the countless values of an all-girls education, enhanced by a unique Center City location, a dynamic team of advocates for all-girls education joined forces to open a new all-girls high school in Center City. Center City Girls Academy will combine the legacy of offering young girls the opportunity to attend an all-girls high school in Center City with a more creative, innovative, and holistic approach to educating young women from the Greater Philadelphia area to become our leaders of tomorrow. If you: • recognize the value of an all-girls education, • are an alumna of an all-girls high school and have experienced its positive impact, • are an educator who has experienced the indisputable effect quality education provides, • appreciate and support a value based, holistic educational experience that promotes intellectual excellence, encourages individuality, and values diversity, Please join CCGA in Phase 2 of their journey – procuring an appropriate building in Center City Philadelphia.
