About Center for Digital Visual Studies - University of Zurich - Max Planck Society

Critical reflection and application of computational approaches and AI to the study of visual phenomena, digitized art collections, and other multimodal matters of concern that regard our contemporary digital culture. We conduct scientific and scholarly research and also engage in artistic research practices, notably on algorithmic and generative curation. We are a research center funded by the Max Planck Society and hosted at the University of Zurich.
