About Center of Green Economy Projects

The Center of Green Economy Projects (GEC) was established in 2023 and operates under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The GEC is a key public institution that streamlines project implementation for climate change adaptation and mitigation, including, but not limited to, GHG Emissions Reduction / Removal, Renewable Energy Certification, ESG, MRV, Carbon Trade, and Green Transitioning.
