About Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Armenia is a state body in charge of organizing elections, as well as referendums, ensuring their legality. The CEC is independent from state and local self-government bodies in exercising its powers. The CEC works to support a healthy democracy within its powers based on the principles of lawfulness, collegiality and publicity.
