About Centre for Psychedelics Health & Research

The Centre for Psychedelic Health & Research (CPHR) at Providence Care Hospital launched in 2024 with the goal to serve as a multi-disciplinary hub and catalyst for psychedelic research, innovation and knowledge translation. The three main focuses of CPHR include: 1) advancing psychedelic medicine and public health by conducting high-quality clinical research and fostering technological innovation; 2) sharing knowledge to diverse populations through an extensive knowledge translation program; and 3) shaping the future of psychedelic health by creating a collaborative network through training and networking events. CPHR is affiliated with Queen's University and is supported by the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI), Providence Care Hospital and the Canadian Biomarker Integration Network in Depression (CAN-BIND).
