CFA utilizes a variety of products that exceed fire protection specifications for commercial structures and protect the lives and property of their inhabitants. These include: - Standard, medium, and high-density cementitious fireproofing - Intumescent fireproofing - Rigid board fireproofing Acoustical Sprays & Insulation CFA offers a variety of spray applied acoustical treatments that not only increase the acoustical qualities of a structure but also provide firesafing and energy reduction to protect your investment. These treatments deliver an attractive appearance and can adhere to nearly any kind of construction material including metal, wood, concrete and glass. Firestopping A firestop or fire-stopping is a form of passive fire protection that is used to seal around openings and between joints in a fire-resistance-rated wall or floor assembly. Firestops are designed to maintain the fire-resistance rating of a wall or floor assembly by impeding the spread of flames, deadly gases and toxic smoke through openings. Patching and Repairs Many buildings have existing fireproofing that needs to be brought up to code. CFA offers numerous application methods that efficiently and economically address the patching and repair needs of general contractors and building owners.
