In this context, industrial logistics encompasses planning, organising, controlling and optimising logistical processes within industrial companies. The work of the chair focuses on the strategy fields "Process Design and Optimization", "Application of Technologies", and "Green Logistics". In these areas, specialists and students are trained and further educated, innovative techno-economic evaluation methods are designed, state-of-the-art simulations for logistics processes are developed, and research and innovation projects are managed.
