About Charlie's Travels

Charlie's Travels is the go-to off the beaten track tour operator of East Africa! Check out charlies-travels.com for more information. Tourism in Africa is extremely traditional. Before you know it, you're traveling from safari lodge to safari lodge, without experiencing the actual Africa. Charlie's Travels is a travel agency annex tour operator, specialized in tailor made adventurous trips. With an international, young team with the same adventurous mentality, we're organizing unique trips all across the continent. Furthermore, this is what we stand for: • We're the only Dutch, on the ground travel agency in Kenya. This doesn't only mean that we've got an endless amount of first-hand Africa knowledge, it also means that our team is 24/7 on stand-by, and never too far away! • We develop our own tours - there's no middle man. Charlie has been traveling the continent since 2014 and everywhere he comes, from relatively unknown Masai territory to the white beaches of the Indian Ocean, he develops new routes with local partners: an offbeat trip is guaranteed! • No standard package trips - if you ask us, the perfect Africa trip is the product of a co-creation: every adventure starts with a personal conversation in which we discuss your travel style and personal interests, so we can design a fully tailor made trip. • Our team is a dynamic, international mix of locals and Dutchmen - everyone has their own specialties and everyone is afflicted by a bad case of 'mal d'Afrique'! • A healthy, Kenyan economy is important to us - Charlie's travels works with local partners and works as much as possible with local organizations.
