Designed to be the archetypal manor house, the family helped design and create their perfect Maison. It stayed within the family for over 300 years before changing hands just twice to date and is currently owned by a British family with two young children. In order to keep the Chateau’s charm, renovations have carefully taken place, ensuring none of the original mouldings or features have been lost. Now fully restored and renovated to an exceedingly high standard, each room has a unique style, furnished with rich, fine fabrics and carefully selected French antiques. Whilst the current family isn't staying there, the Chateau is available for rental. Sleeping up to fourteen (with plans to open the Grange to offer even more space - an extra four people)) . There is no shortage of things to do within the Chateau’s walls and in the surrounding area. On warmer days you can take a walk around the 11 acres of woodland, say hello to the frogs in the lake and the cows next door, before having a game of ping pong in the orchard and finishing with a nice dip in the pool. Rainy days are taken care of with board games, cinema room, slate based pool table, chess and various card games and super fast internet.
