CheckMark is a skin cancer assessment service that lets patients get a quick dermatologist diagnosis on new, changing, or worrisome spots without having to wait months or years. Patients are referred by their doctor or nurse practitioner, and receive high-quality dermoscopic photographs in-person at a participating pharmacy or retail location. The images are sent to a dermatologist who reviews them within 7 days, and arranges biopsy or removal if the spot is concerning for skin cancer.
