About Chemican Inc.

To prevent pollution, human health hazards, and chemical accidents, companies need to accurately record and manage what and how much of what chemical substances are used in their products, and conduct risk assessments. As part of this work, it is necessary to extract various data from documents called Safety Data Sheets (SDS), which are instruction manuals for chemical substances. Companies around the world spend a great deal of time and manpower on this task, and it is a tremendous hardship. Our company, Chemican, is a startup that has developed AI-OCR software, “Chemican,” which scans SDSs, automatically extracts data, and performs risk assessment. We have already been introduced to many big companies, and we are planning to expand our business to overseas companies as well. We are looking for members who can help us develop this product!
