About Chester's India

Our company’s origins lie in our relationship with leather. Beginning in 1986, we developed a business processing and finishing high-quality leather goods for export from India, building ourselves a reputation across Europe. From there, we discovered the elegant and generous forms of European 19th century leather furniture and we were inspired to bring such traditional craft back home to Bangalore, exploring these designs in an Indian context.
