About Chic By Design LLC

We lead luxury residential projects with a highly organized, white-glove process—so clients feel supported, clear, and confident from first concept through final installation. Chic By Design specializes in new construction, major renovations, and full-home furnishing for relocating families and second-home owners, with projects typically $1M+. We work with clients moving to North Carolina or London, and with homeowners creating retreats and legacy properties where craftsmanship, comfort, and lifestyle performance matter. Every project begins with how you live: the rhythms of the household, how you entertain, what you value, and the architectural context. From there, we develop a cohesive design direction—space planning, color and material selections, furnishings, and finishes—and coordinate execution with precision. We manage the full project team—architects, builders, painters, showrooms, and artisans—aligning decisions, timelines, and details so the process feels seamless and the result feels elevated and deeply personal. Clients come to us for strong aesthetic judgment, discretion, and decisive guidance that reduces decision fatigue while protecting quality, budget, and time. Founder and Principal Designer Leigh Ann Raines brings global brand and customer experience leadership from Fortune 50 organizations—shaping how projects are run today: structured communication, thoughtful decision support, and an uncompromising standard of service. If you’re planning a new build, a significant renovation, or a full-home furnishing project in NC or London, we’d love to connect.
