About Chicago Area Peace Corps Association (CAPCA)

Chicago Area Peace Corps Association (CAPCA) is a nonprofit organization uniting Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, their friends, families, and supporters in advancing the principles and experiences of the Peace Corps through diverse local, national, and international engagements. We promote cultural understanding with monthly dinners at local ethnic restaurants, provide speakers on the Peace Corps and global issues, and coordinate community service projects. Additionally, CAPCA raises funds for Peace Corps projects worldwide, supporting initiatives like water irrigation in Senegal and solar panels in Malawi through the Peace Corps Partnership Projects program. Join us at CAPCA.org to discover more and get involved in our mission to make a meaningful impact!
