About Children's Museum of Rock County

The Children's Museum of Rock County (CMRC) is an emerging children's museum dedicated to promoting the joy of learning through play. We are run by a group of dedicated volunteers that is working diligently to build a permanent location. In March 2023, we launched our "Let's PLAY Together" capital campaign to build the museum at 100 W. Milwaukee Street in downtown Janesville, WI. Our fundraising goal is $8M.
