The Chilled Food Association (CFA) is the voice of the UK chilled prepared food sector, representing a £10bn+ industry that employs over 100,000 people across more than 130 sites nationwide. We work with our members, regulators and industry partners to champion the highest standards in food safety, quality and innovation. CFA supports collaboration across the sector, shares national insight, and helps shape best practice in response to evolving regulatory, technical and workforce challenges. Through Chilled Education, we also connect classrooms with industry, providing curriculum-linked resources and career inspiration to help teachers introduce young people to the breadth of opportunities within the chilled food sector. Together, CFA and Chilled Education support today’s industry and help build the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
