China Datang Corporation (CDT) is one of Chinas five largest state-owned power generation enterprises, established in 2002 from the former State Power Corporation of China. The company generates electricity across multiple energy types including thermal, hydro, wind, and nuclear, with installed capacity exceeding 200 million kilowatts across 31 provinces in China as well as operations in Southeast Asia. China Datang has been listed in the Fortune Global 500 for 15 consecutive years and is directly managed by the central government.
