China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO Group) is a Chinese state-owned conglomerate established in 1980 that manufactures defense products, civilian vehicles, petroleum and mineral equipment, optronic devices, and commercial explosives. The group comprises over 300 subsidiaries including factories, research institutes, and trading companies, with more than 20 overseas offices and 60 branches worldwide. NORINCO is one of Chinas largest defense contractors and provides weapons and technical support to Chinas armed forces.
