About China Southern Power Grid
China Southern Power Grid Company Limited (CSG) is one of two Chinese state-owned power grid enterprises established in 2002, responsible for investing in, constructing, and operating power grids across Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Hainan provinces, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, and parts of Southeast Asia. CSG serves a 1 million km² supply area and approximately 272 million people, accounting for about 20% of Chinas total grid capacity. The company is a global leader in ultrahigh-voltage direct current technology.
