Established in 1985, China Urban Construction Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CUCD) was formerly a public unit called the Urban Construction Design Institute directly under the Ministry of Construction. It was reformed as a state-owned enterprise in 2002 and changed its name to China Urban Construction Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. in 2014 after the approval of the State Council. CUCD is a comprehensive consulting, research, design and construction firm in the urban construction industry.
