About Choice Floors & Stairways

Since 1976, Choice Companies has been a trusted name in flooring and stairway solutions throughout Maryland and the surrounding areas. Originally founded as Choice Floor Center by Ken Cleaver and Glenn Walker, we started as a general flooring business and grew to serve the evolving needs of our community. Over 45 years later, we’re proud to offer premium flooring, stair, and rail solutions, with showrooms in Dunkirk and Largo, MD. At Choice Floors & Stairways, we provide high-quality brands such as Shaw, Mohawk, Mannington, and Daltile, ensuring top-tier products for every project. Our Largo showroom, spanning 10,000 square feet, features the Mid-Atlantic’s only dedicated Stair & Rail Design Center, where we specialize in custom stairways and railings. From elegant, statement-making custom designs to classic, durable installations, our expert team ensures each project is tailored to our client’s needs. We serve both residential and commercial clients, including homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors, across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Our mission has always been to put the customer first, delivering unmatched craftsmanship and service from start to finish.
