Choppies Enterprises Limited operates a supermarket chain in Botswana, which is engaged in providing consumer goods. The Company's retail offerings include international food brands and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) products, as well as its own private label for consumers. The Company's segments include Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya. In South Africa, the Company's Jwayelani business consists of approximately 20 stores, a distribution center and a meat processing factory in South Africa. It has approximately five and eight stores, in Zambia and Kenya, respectively, as well as distribution facilities. The Company's stores offer fruits and vegetables, bakery, butchery, and takeaway products, such as fried chicken, chips, curries and combos, and Choppies Fried Chicken (CFC). It offers products in categories ranging from food and beverages to home cleaning. It provides baked goods, such as fresh bread, cakes and patisseries. It also offers financial services.
