Christmas in the Park is San Jose's most beloved holiday tradition — a free, family-friendly celebration running from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, welcoming over 1 million guests annually since 1980. We're currently leading Lighting the Future, a $10M capital investment campaign to transform our infrastructure, expand STEAM education programs, and build the next generation of community impact. This includes paid internships, fellowships, scholarships, and free accredited workshops for local students. The Christmas in the Park Innovation Center (CIC) is where the magic happens year-round — our hub for STEAM education, creative production, and community programming. From robotics workshops to immersive holiday experiences, the CIC bridges holiday tradition with year-round learning.
