About CIRES

Companhia Industrial de Resinas Sintéticas, CIRES, Lda was establish in 1960 and based in Portugal as manufacturer of PVC. In 2009, we folded into one of our founding shareholders, Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., that is the world’s leading manufacturer in this sector. Our product offerings are comprised of general-purpose grades of suspension PVC (S-PVC), but also a range of speciality products with highly specific properties, both in S-PVC but also including a suite of emulsion-manufactured PVC grades (E-PVC). CIRES is firmly committed to adopting measures aimed at sustainable development with respect for the environment and the communities in which we operate.
