About City of Abbeville

There are many events going on almost every weekend during the year. Whether it is an Opera House play, live music on our Historic Square, movies under the stars, or our famous Spring Festival...you can always bet on a fun-filled weekend in Abbeville! The City of Abbeville has magnificent scenery and is busting at the seams with history. One may want to go on the Historic Walking Tour or may also want to check out the Burt-Stark Mansion right off the Square. While you're here, be sure you visit all of our wonderful locally owned restaurants, variety shops, art galleries and antique stores! If you need more information about an event, our City or our venues, please feel free to contact us at 864-366-5017. We look forward to seeing you soon!
