About City of Bellevue

Here, in the heart of the Great Plains, our City sits on rolling hills overlooking the Missouri River. Its tree-lined streets provide a park-like atmosphere. Our citizens enjoy a lifestyle that blends the latest in entertainment and leisure activities with an old time atmosphere of friendliness and welcome. Our economy is growing and encompasses both small businesses and large corporations. We have a strong technology infrastructure that supports growth and opportunity. Low unemployment, low cost of living, low utility rates, low crime, and great education systems from pre-school to post-graduate are hallmarks of our City. With over 600 acres of parks, wooded and paved trails that stretch for miles, and dozens of ball fields, our City provides locations and activities for all of its citizens. Our City provides a rare combination of a modern lifestyle while maintaining its roots in Midwestern hospitality. We want everyone to know what those of us who call Bellevue home already know….our City is simply the best.
