About City Science Lab Gipuzkoa

The City Science Lab Gipuzkoa is a research group dedicated to understanding how passenger and human mobility intersect with carbon footprint, territorial cohesion, and economic development. Leveraging advanced data science, simulation, and AI, we analyze key urban and rural indicators across Gipuzkoa. Our work allows us to model alternative scenarios that can transform the region’s performance—economically, socially, and environmentally. Our mission is to develop comprehensive, data-driven decision-support tools that empower policymakers to make smarter, more sustainable choices while fostering active citizen engagement in both rural and urban decision-making.
