About CitySeek

CitySeek is a Darmstadt-based startup offering a social, location-based city exploration app. It transforms sightseeing into interactive quests that guide users through must-see landmarks and hidden local gems. The app blends educational storytelling and playful social gameplay, making each exploration fresh and memorable. As players check in at GPS-based checkpoints, they unlock stories, historical facts and small riddles about each locations. For each verified location, players earn virtual coins redeemable for discounts, experiences or free products at partner businesses. By rewarding exploration in this way, CitySeek both entertains users and supports the local community economy.
