Through Nosy Maitso, our local company in Madagascar, we are facilitating the transition from cooking on open fire to efficient cookstoves. More than 30 000 households use our ethanol stoves, switching from charcoal to clean fuel. We are involved in the entire value chain from ethanol production to household distribution. Carbon credits are leveraged to ensure affordability and business growth. Harmful use of charcoal is a major threat to nature and people in Madagascar. Our stoves improves health, protects the climate and environment, empower women and help consumers save time and money. To meet the increasing demand for bioethanol, we are now installing our first distillery in Madagascar, aiming for 20 more by 2030.
