About Club Wind Surf Area

The Wind Surf Area Club is a Sports Club, federated in the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community, with the aim of facilitating and promoting the practice of windsurfing in particular, and sliding sports in general. At present, the Club has a social place and two local storage of windsurfing equipment, kitesuf and paddle surf, a few meters from the beach, thus facilitating its members to practice these sports with ease and comfort. Created in 1989, it is a non-profit organization, which every summer since 1994 installs a windsurf school on the beach, in front of its social premises, where they promote the initiation in windsurfing of people of all ages. The School has had agreements with different universities to bring windsurfing to this group as well. In 2012, the CWSA installed a weather station on the beach, thanks to which anyone can consult the weather conditions on the internet for free (through a link located in the header of their website), registering more than 10,000 visits each month. Since 2014, in our summer school we have held several open days, totally free and open to anyone who wants to participate and try the sport of windsurfing. Starting in 2015, we celebrate our increasingly popular "Rookie Session", also free and open to the public (whether or not they are members of the Club), advertised through our Facebook, and which consist of sessions where we put monitors Windsurfing at your disposal to help you improve your technique with your own nautical equipment. All of the above demonstrates our non-profit vocation of sport promotion.
