CMU College of Makeup Art & Design is a world leader in training for makeup, spfx, character and digital design. In 2017, CMU celebrated 30 years as a renowned makeup school, located in The Old Fire Hall, a historic site in the heart of downtown Toronto. The college is the only school in North America dedicated to specialized diploma and certificate programs in all disciplines of Makeup Artistry: Fashion, Theatre, Wig Knotting, Film & Television, Prosthetics, and practical & digital Creature Design. Each year, 200 students from over 30 countries study Makeup Artistry at CMU. The school’s state of the art facilities allow Canadian and international students to articulate their creative potential while mastering leading edge techniques.
