About Coalition for Healthy School Food (Canada)

The Coalition for Healthy School Food is the largest school food network in Canada. We have over 380+ organizations and 150+ endorsers in Canada advocating for a permanent Canada-wide school food program. We seek an investment by the federal government in a cost-shared Universal Healthy School Food Program that will enable all students in Canada to have access to healthy school food every day. Building on existing programs in Canada, all schools will eventually serve a healthy meal or snack at little or no cost to students. A permanent Universal Healthy School Food Program would support the health, well being and education of all Canadian children.
