About CocoaNexus Limited

CocoaNexus is a digital platform designed to transform the cocoa value chain by providing a centralized database system for profiling, monitoring, and supporting cocoa farmers. It leverages technology to ensure full traceability, sustainability, and transparency across the cocoa supply chain while improving access to resources for smallholder farmers and compliance with EU deforestation regulations. CocoaNexus utilizes its Farm Management System (FMS) database to create a comprehensive farmer dataset on who is farming what, where, and how. With unique digital IDs, GPS-mapped farms, production histories, certification records, deforestation monitoring, and providing access to traceable, sustainably sourced, high-quality cocoa beans for exporters, processors, and chocolate companies in the value chain. We empower farmers through training programs on GAP, deployment of developmental programs such as distribution of improved seedlings with partner organizations, private sectors, NGOs, and financial institutions, ensuring farmers' inclusion in global supply chains. The FMS database provides a real-time data analytics report for governments, companies, NGOs, donor agencies, developmental partners, and buyers to provide targeted support programs, access traceable-origin beans, verified data, profiled farmers, monitor EUDR compliance, certifications, regional distributions, and make an informed decision. By integrating traceability and sustainability indicators, CocoaNexus aims to play a crucial role in combating child labour, deforestation, and farmer poverty in cocoa-producing regions.
