About Cole Slaw Records

Cole Slaw Records is an Amsterdam-based independent label and artist collective blending jazz, hip-hop, and lo-fi into a distinct sound that celebrates musicianship, groove, and creative freedom. Founded by producer and multi-instrumentalist Louk Cox, the label was built on the belief that the future of music lies in collaboration and authenticity. Cole Slaw unites artists, producers, and instrumentalists from around the world who share a passion for soulful, organic sound — creating music that feels timeless yet forward-thinking. Beyond releasing records, the label functions as a creative ecosystem: developing artists, curating visual aesthetics, hosting live sessions, and building partnerships that bridge the gap between independent artistry and professional reach. At its heart, Cole Slaw Records is about community, craftsmanship, and connection — serving as a home for artists pushing the boundaries of modern jazz and hip-hop.
