About Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition
CCJRC launched in 1999 to bring a community voice to challenge perpetual prison expansion and advocate and organize for more holistic, effective, and just public safety strategies. Over 25 years later, with hundreds of successful legislative reforms under our belt, seven prisons closed, and tens of millions of dollars redirected from prison budgets into community-based treatment and reentry programs, CCJRC is a trusted and influential voice at the Capitol and in community.
