About Community and Enterprise Leadership Foundation (CELF)

The Waikato business community, in partnership with the Waikato Management School, initiated the Community and Enterprise Leadership Foundation (CELF). Two influential business and community leaders, Dr Bernie Crosby ONZM (founder of Prolife Foods Ltd) and Mr David Irving ONZM (Chairman of Prolife Foods Ltd and founder of The ICEHOUSE) alongside Dr Peter Sun (University of Waikato) stepped forward to bring to fruition the purpose of CELF. Every year, CELF and their sponsors hand-pick participants to ensure there is equal and significant impact to both the community and enterprise sectors. CELF delivers the Elevate Leadership Programme connecting experienced Waikato leaders, New Zealand, while increasing leadership capability and advancing our region.
