About Community Disability Alliance Hunter - CDAH
Community Disability Alliance Hunter (CDAH) is a Newcastle-based not-for-profit led by and run by people with disability. As a cross-disability Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO), CDAH is unique because our work is shaped by lived experience at every level. We bring together people with disability from diverse backgrounds and experiences to influence systems, strengthen community and drive real change. Through peer support, workshops, events and advocacy, we do more than connect people, we help shape services, policies and community attitudes so they reflect the voices and needs of people with disability. By amplifying lived experience and creating opportunities for leadership, participation and belonging, CDAH is helping build a more inclusive community and a stronger future for people with disability.
